The start of Payt, already 10 years ago, meant for me the realization of a long-cherished dream to stand on my own feet and start a business. Nevertheless, it was an exciting adventure for me, and all the more enjoyable to embark on it with people I had been working with long before the start of Payt.
I remember April 15, 2013, as if it were yesterday. We went online for the first time as Payt. The planned marketing activities were set to start shortly thereafter. Our ambitions and expectations were sky-high! Soon, it became clear that success would depend largely on our own efforts and choices made far beyond the comfort zone. You often see pictures of it, but in reality, it is, in my opinion, truly the place ‘where the magic happens.’
On the journey from A to B, we found a successful route C with the help of our first customers. We have not strayed from this upward path. We have turned ’nothing’ into ‘something’, providing excellent services with added value for our customers who equally appreciate us. That is actually the most important thing. The rest are gifts and beautiful memories, such as the sponsorship with FC Groningen, for example. After all, who gets to experience such adventures?
At Payt, I look forward to spending a long time thinking with customers about how to make things even better, and continuing to build our wonderful company together with our team!
