Mollie and Payt join forces to offer you a solution for easily and automatically receiving (international) payments. With this integration, we provide customers and debtors in multiple European countries and the UK with various online payment options, including direct debit, and we automatically follow up on any reversals.

The benefits of the integration between Mollie and Payt

Support and automation of direct debit

Payt and Mollie offer you the ability to quickly and easily offer direct debit to your debtors. When you activate this through Payt and link it to Mollie, Payt will offer your debtors a button in the invoice email to indicate their preference for paying the new invoices via direct debit. Payt automatically saves this request and will collect the next invoices from these debtors via direct debit. The wording of the email in the next invoice sending is also adjusted accordingly.

International payments without currency losses

The integration with Mollie is ideal for internationally operating organizations. Through Mollie, Payt can offer its customers and debtors in multiple European countries and the UK various online payment options, such as iDEAL, PayPal, SOFORT, Bancontact, Credit card, etc. The payout can be made in multiple currencies, for example, pounds to pounds. This prevents unnecessary exchange rate losses.

Easy integration with accounting software

Mollie is a leading PSP, both in look & feel and in integrations. For example, it is possible to personalize the payment page, and Mollie integrates easily with, for example, accounting software to automate the reconciliation of payments (via an MT940 file).

Connecting Mollie to Payt 

Step 1: Create a connection with Mollie in Payt. Go to Administration > Online payments > Create an account with Mollie. 

Step 2: Provide the requested documents to Mollie to complete the account setup with Mollie. 

Step 3: Activate direct debit (SEPA direct debit) in the Mollie account. Mollie typically approves this step within one working day in most cases. Once this step is completed, proceed to step 4.
